Weekly Schedule
With distance learning, our schedule looks different from most years. You should expect to see me 1-2 times per week for class meetings and office hours and spend ~3 hours of time working on content at your own pace.
Starting September 14th: Periods 1, 3, 5 will meet via Google Meets for synchronous (at the same time) learning on MONDAYS Periods 2, 4, 6 will meet via Google Meets on TUESDAYS AND You will spend 45 minutes to an hour completing tasks and assignments on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a total of around 3 hours/week. Events to look forward to
While we can't meet in person that doesn't mean there can't be events. Check back here for digital access to science related events!

Work/Attendance Policy
In order to make this year work, flexibility and grace are going to be key! I hope to receive that grace from families when content doesn't load properly, attachments go missing and my home internet cuts out; and I plan on extending the same flexibility to all of you.
Things are going to happen! It's all okay. While I do hope to see everyone, every week for our class meetings, and get to finish my weekly grading and Synergy updates each Friday afternoon, I know that every one of us will have special circumstances arise. If you cannot join us for synchronous learning or need an extension on a week's assignments, please contact me via email, but know that I will be as flexible with due dates and schedules as possible! If you are completing work at a later time, please try to complete your assignments in the order they were assigned (in a constructivist classroom, learning builds) and know that all work will be due before the end of the grading period. |
